SPECIAL UPDATE:

Hi all,
I think I need to clear up a few misconceptions:
JP’s ITALIAN AMERICAN MARKET:
1) This is NOT a BAKERY!
2) This is NOT a DELICATESSEN
3) The place doesn’t have much in it.
4) WE ARE NOT ON ROUTE 1. We are on Old Kings Rd & Utility Dr. We are in the strip mall across the street from the Fairfield by Marriott

Response:
1) The frozen bread is shipped in from Brooklyn & New Jersey. Once heated in the comfort of your home, it’s as good as any bread you’ve ever had. If you want the shelf stable bread that lasts weeks, your choice, enjoy. But believe me, once you try the bread you will never go back.
2)I have no idea where anyone got the notion we were a delicatessen.
First, a delicatessen is JEWISH and thank God for it. It’s what I grew up on… LOVE IT!!! For Italians it’s a Salumeria! I would love to be that but size constraints make it impossible.
3)I will say, in our rush to get this open for the Holidays we brought in whatever we could get in. And we agree, sometimes it’s slim pickings. The reason is simple, we can’t keep the products we’ve brought in on the shelves. Out of stocks, supply chain problems & delivery issues don’t help either. But more so, our incredible guests are wiping us out. We brought in dozens of cases of Pastosa and several varieties sold out. Your buying five and ten boxes at a time, how do we anticipate this? Two days ago we replenished our sausage selection. From 12 cases, we have six packages left.
4)Self explanatory.

Lastly, before we opened we sent out a survey on SEVERAL social media sites and these were the top choices. We brought everything we could bring in that was worth having! Now I know we can’t please everyone; and for those we disappointed, sorry, but the hundred of you that came by to thank us for bringing an Italian MARKET back to Palm Coast and offer suggestions & encouragement, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Here is what we do have but are not limited too, and we get new items weekly:
BREAD: Twisted Seeded, Round Brick Oven, Semolina, Italian, Focaccia etc etc
STUFFED BREAD: Olive, Cheese, Salami & Pepperoni
FROZEN PASTA: PASTOSA! This is fresh pasta, flash frozen & truly incredible. It’s what the entire Tri-state area grew up on. Ravioli, Stuffed Shells, Manicotti, Tortellini, Cavatelli, etc
Shelf Stable Pasta: Parpadelle, Tagliatelle, LONG FUSILLI, & the old fashioned shapes.
SAUSAGE: Cheese & Parsley, Hot & Sweet
COOKIES: Black & White, Seeded, Biscotti, Rainbow, Chocolate Dipped, Sugar, Sprinkled, Assorted Packs & CHOCOLATES, etc
CHEESES: Grated, Soft & Hard
MEATS: Sweet & Hot: Dry Sausage, Soppresatta & Salami’s
BEER & WINE: Italian Beer, Reds, Whites & Prosecco
GROCERIES: Oils, Vinegars, Tomatoes, Sauces, Veggies, Speads, Taralla’s etc, etc
GRAB & GO: Eggplant, Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana, Meatball, Sausage & Peppers, Rice Balls, Potato Croquettes and the list can keep on going.
SOUPS: Italian Wedding, Minestrone, Tomato Basil, so far…
SALADS: Antipasto, Chefs & Caesar
DESSERTS & CAKES: Tiramisu, Limoncello, Two Cheesecakes (Juniors & Another), Rainbow Cake, Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Flourless,
Pistachio & Ricotta (with Marscapone)
AND MORE! Not bad really!!!
It’s not MAZZARO’s, we wish we were, they’re INCREDIBLE!!! But we bring in what we can with the space we have and what you tell us you want. I hope this clears some things up.
